End Violence Against Women and Girls

Join women and men from across the country on 24 October 2012 at the Feminist Lobby of Parliament to call on our politicians to take action to end violence against women and girls (VAWG). As the experts in this film make clear, it is the lack of political will, not a lack of solutions, that is holding us back from eliminating VAWG. Sign up at http://ukfeminista.org.uk/event-details/feministlobby/

Experts from the End Violence Against Women Coalition, Imkaan, Southall Black Sisters, Eaves, Object, Anti-Porn Men and leading academics give insights into the factors that drive and perpetuate violence against women and girls and what we need to do to end it. It is one of four films in UK Feminista's 'Building a Feminist Future' series that explore some of the big issues in women's inequality today.
